Now officially released from 'Grey's Anatomy,' Isaiah Washington has opened up in an attempt to clear his name of the negativity currently associated with it. And the slurful former Dr. Preston Burke is coming out pointing fingers at his ex castmates.

In an interview on 'Larry King Live', Washington spoke of a heated dispute with co-star Patrick Dempsey, claiming that it all started as a result of Dr. McDreamy's inability to tell time.

If he wasn’t known for his role on Grey’s Anatomy, he was definitely known for the gay bashing. And now Isaiah Washington is complaining that Grey’s fired him over racism, rather than for the hate speech he committed.

Washington told press, "I had a person in human resources tell me after this thing played out that 'some people' were afraid of me around the studio. I asked her why, because I'm a 6-foot-1, black man with dark skin and who doesn't go around saying 'Yessah, massa sir' and 'No sir, massa' to everyone? It’s nuts when your presence alone can just scare people, and that made me a prime candidate to take the heat in a dysfunctional family."

Katherine Heigl has been invited back to Grey's Anatomy - the last of the big stars to get a renewal offer for the fourth season of the hit medical television show.

The offer came just one day after ABC Television Studio chose to let go of Isaiah Washington, thereby ending Dr. Preston Burke's position at Seattle Grace.

With all the drama surrounding the “gay bashing” comments made by Grey’s Anatomy’s Isaiah Washington, the ABC’s verdict is in.

Washington will not be returning for the new season, according to and ABC executive. He said that the decision was tied to Mr. Washington’s comments regarding his fellow cast member, T.R. Knight.

We all make mistakes. We say things we shouldn’t say; we do things we shouldn’t do. In Isaiah Washington’s case, he made some pretty rude homophobic comments about T.R. Knight, his Grey’s Anatomy costar. All involved were hurt, but it looks like there’s forgiveness on the set of the list-topping drama.

Katherine Heigl has publicly forgiven Washington for his verbal indiscretion. "I know that he was very ashamed and that was a necessary emotion to move forward and not backward. His attitude and behavior and thought process needed to change, and the only way to do that is to be self-aware and honest. And I think he was. I have forgiven."

Most of the stars of the hit medical drama series 'Grey's Anatomy' have agreed new contracts, and as could be assumed... they will not need to pick up a second job to cover the bills.

The Hollywood Reporter states that, under the new deal, Ellen Pompeo (Meredith Grey) will receive almost $200,000 per episode, while her co-stars James T Pickens Jr (Richard Webber) and Chandra Wilson (Miranda Bailey) will receive somewhere in the ballpark of $125,000 per episode.

The hit television show 'Grey's Anatomy' has been plagued by one problem after another. Now that the controversy surrounding Isaiah Washington's anti-gay remarks has subsided, People magazine reported recently that Katherine Heigl, who plays "Izzie" on the show, was "disappointed" and "hurt" that Touchstone didn't "value her as much as her co-stars, especially Sandra Oh and Isaiah Washington."

Network giant ABC, however, has said that despite their long-term contract with the star, Heigl was recently offered a raise.

T.R. Knight may be preparing for an abrupt exit from the hit tv show “Grey’s Anatomy”.

The actor was the recipient of a widely-publicized homophobic slur by co-star, Isaiah Washington, and he “is so upset about the situation and so disgusted by how it was all handled,” that he’s planning to leave the show, a source told msnbc.

“He was told not to say anything about the whole incident,” said the insider, referring to an on-set barb in October when fellow cast member Isaiah Washington referred to Knight, who plays Dr. George O’Malley, with a derogatory word used to describe gay men.
