Representatives for the Billboard Music Awards announced on Tuesday (May 1) that four new artists including Kelly Clarkson, Usher, Linkin Park, and Nelly Furtado will join the growing list of performers for the spectacular, star-studded evening.
The quartet of acts will join Justin Bieber, LMFAO, The Wanted, Carrie Underwood and Cee Lo Green on the show's lineup, which is being held in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Arena.
The highly anticipated fourth studio album "A Thousand Suns" from Grammy award winning alternative artist, Linkin Park, was flying off of racks after being released today (September 14).
Co-produced by Rick Rubin and Linkin Park co-lead vocalist, Mike Shinoda, the album features 15 tracks, including the #1 alternative radio and Billboard Rock Songs Chart single, ‘The Catalyst.’ The second single ‘Waiting For The End’ has just impacted radio and is off to an equally fast start.
They’ve always been known for their high energy live show and Linkin Park will be performing on the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.
Singer Chester Bennington told press, "After two years of working on our new album, we're looking forward to sharing our first live performance of new music with our fans around the world on the MTV Awards."
It’s that time of the year again. Time for the 2007 American Music Awards, that is. And this year there are plenty of categories embroiled in fierce competition.
According to the list of nominees, Beyonce, Justin Timerlake, Chris Daughtry, and Linkin Park will be competing in three categories each, while Akon, Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Young Jeezy, T.I., and Carrie Underwood each have two chances to take home an award.
