Less than a week after filing for divorce from his wife of almost two years, Martin Lawrence submitted paperwork on Monday (April 30) to seek joint custody of his two daughters while also requesting that the couple's assets be divided under the terms of a prenuptial agreement.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Lawrence cited "irreconcilable differences" in his recently submitted petition in the Los Angeles Superior Court. A rep for the “Big Momma’s House” actor told press, "Martin and Shamicka Lawrence have decided to divorce," adding, “the couple has made the joint decision to part ways."
